WEDDING HAIR TIPS
Here you’ll find our top tips for brides to be to help you look and feel beautiful on your special day.
They say that your wedding day is the best day of your life, and so you’ll want to make sure you look perfect from head to toe. That’s why it is so important to plan your hairstyle well in advance of the wedding.
Once you have bought your veil and tiara let us practice with it before the big day, play with a few different looks before finalising your choice, and try to match the degree of formality of your gown to your hairstyle.
Visit us at least six months before your wedding to set up a hair care regime. We will advice you on what products to use, whether you need special conditioning treatments, when to have your hair coloured, cut, etc.
It is worth getting your existing colour touched up two weeks before the wedding so you won’t have any roots showing, and you may need a final trim at the same time.
Any practice sessions and of course on the big day, make sure you wear a button down shirt so you will not knock the hair out of place when you get changed into your dress.
It is also best not to wash your hair on the day, as this can make your hair slippery and difficult for hair up do's.
Above all else, do not let anyone talk you into any new style unless you really love it, you don’t want to feel
self conscious on the happiest day of your life.
